Father-God Time: Facing What’s Now.

Once we realize the significance of having the involvement of the Father in our faith operations, we will not need to be urged to include him as we are currently. Whenever I read of Jesus, my Savior, speak of the comparison between him and the Father, what else is there left to say? Let’s read a few of those scriptures: John 14:28, Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. Once we come to know Father, we will always want to have him involved in our faith operations; furthermore, to receive the greatest return on our faith, we will want to have the greater of the Godheads involved. Here is another scripture in which Jesus gives the upper hand to the Father: Mark 10:18, And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. John 1:1-2, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2) The same was in the beginning with God. We know that the Word was with God, his Father, from before the beginning; therefore, when Jesus refers to God, he is referring to Father-God. The Apostle Paul talks about the flesh as in it’s sin nature, that it means no good thing; therefore, if it means no good thing, being the son of man does expose Jesus to the no good sin nature of the flesh. Jesus always won while on earth, but he had to win it: he could not just be, as he was also tempted by Satan. There is but one, God and his spirit, who remain free of that sin nature: GOOD! These are all reasons why we do want to include Father-God time in all of our faith operations, as there are decisions in which only Father-God can initiate.

I always remind the members of the body of Christ of the dual roles in which Jesus continues to play even as he sits next to the right hand of the Father. Yes, Jesus is our Lord and Savior, and he was given all the power of the fullness of God. This really would be Jesus’ second job, or second role, because Father-God, needed him to come down and do what no one or nothing else could do. Jesus came to pay the price for our freedom so that we could have eternal life. Jesus was indeed born, the son of man; however, Jesus had been born in his other role long before he came to earth to save us. It is very telling when you listen to some of the first things that came out of Jesus spirit once he had finished the work on earth in which the Father had sent him to do. Check out what Jesus said to the Father: John 17:3-5, And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God (Father), and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. 4) I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. 5) And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. Jesus, the Word, was with the Father basking in glory with each other before the world was. Yeah, Jesus, had been very busy with the Father, and could not wait to get back to it as before.

This is why we have to come to know the Will Godhead (Father), in the same fashion in which we have come to know the Word Godhead (Son), and the Power Godhead (Holy Ghost). John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. When God had done all that he was willing to do for man out of love, and God was still not getting the results of having the sin cost of man paid, he said enough is enough. When we read the scripture that says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,” this is not an instance in which the agenda of God had come to this point in time. No no no, this point in time came because God was facing the proposition of what now. When you have a couple of years or so to read it all, God had tried all that could be done, to get this work done. God had went from the Garden of Eden with the failure of the male and female man as one and then as two. Then so much other stuff, not in order, from Noah’s Ark, to kings, prophets, sacrifices, and much much more; on and on, up unto the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus chances of victory in the garden was looking promising with the Angel showing up to strengthen him, except for some sweat becoming like great drops of blood, the Will was on its last stand for the soul. Jesus looked over to the sleeping Apostles, and said to the Father, never the less, thou will be done. When the Father becomes ready to move, he will just move. When God so loved the world, he had already loved the world greatly and very much without accomplishing what he wanted. You know “so love” over “love” leaves “so:” so Father had to send his only begotten son to get the work done.

What will Father have to do so much of to get the work done, or to have our hope come to pass? This is why we come to Father. There is no, not finishing the work or receiving the things hope for, when it comes to Father. Why is this true with Father? The Father is the Will, if the Will needs to be changed, adjusted, or fully revamp; who else can you call? There is no other one to call on when it comes to the Will of God. Why does the bible speak more on all things being possible than on all things being probable. Elisha wanted a double portion of Elijah’s spirit; well, he can have “IF” he sees Elisha when he is taken up into heaven. This means Elisha had to keep his eyes on Elijah while a lot of things were going on. Elijah said that Elisha had ask a hard thing. Why was it a hard thing? When Hezekiah was told of his death by the Prophet Isaiah, who should he ask for a stay if he wants to live longer. Hezekiah did not ask the prophet, but he prayed directly to God to get the word resent. Elisha asked Elijah for a double portion because Elijah asked him what could he do for him; therefore, Elisha was right to answer him. The hard part may have been for Elijah to answer, but once he received the new directions to give Elisha, Elisha only had to keep his eye on the ball, Elijah.

We see in scripture how it prepares us to be ready not to always receive a hundred fold. We all know of people, including our selves, who have receive enough fold, but not as much as we would have wanted. We have become very mature and even skilled in walking in the Word. We have also become mature, and more skilled than we were in moving in the power of the Holy Ghost. We are now at the place in the Body of Christ as members where we need to become mature and eventually skilled in the now of Father-God time. There is a lot of inventory with Father-God that we just can not get from the Word or the Holy Ghost; or should I say, it makes receiving what we need a hard thing when we are out of position. When we look out for Father, when we see his move, it is for now, and not for later. Father will bring his Will around to our neck of the woods in order for us to step into the Will, Now. We must keep in mind that all three Godheads are working together as the one God in order to all be at the same place at the same time. This is where the maturity in the Word and the Holy Ghost will play a big part on the move that Father will have us to make when the time is Now. When we are coming to Father, we are coming to the grown up word. Our maturity in the Word will allow us to bring the word to full maturity as best as we can in confidence and in faith. The word should not look like it began in our walk, as it will look once the Holy Ghost has moved on it to help bring it to the change that will be the finished Will. There are a number of times where the Word is not exhausted yet, but we turn it over to the power of God before it is time to do so. This is where the skill in the development of the Word prepares it for the heat, the fire, and the change of the word’s faith substance to be made flesh, or natural for our use. While the Word and the Holy Ghost are working fully on bringing the Word to the Will; the Will is left to hold on to the Now because of our lack of maturity and skill in finishing Father-God time. We will miss a few finishes until we have more time on the learning curve, but the Word and Holy Ghost will continue to produce enough fold to get us through this part of the training. When it comes to Father-God time, just know to look for the Word in its finished form; and then move into it Now. The Word finished form will be the thing that you hoped for.
