They say that there is power in numbers; and I say they are correct; however, as for what I say, among those numbers must be the power of the number one. You see, I want the favor of man as well as the favor of God coming at me; but we can afford to come up short on the favor of man side just as long as we got the power of God on our side. It’s like waking up fit, and full of energy when Father has my back. When fit and full energy, a person looks forward to meeting the world head on. When I wake up knowing that Father has my back, I look forward to meeting the world head on because of the power that comes with God. The life that we lead would be fun to live if we could approach it with the right attitude, instead of with all the other stuff that we take with us into our lives. When Father Has My Back, Yeah; Then They Will Feel the Power Of The Eighteen Wheeler Coming Down Hill.
When each of us enters into the life of the day, how do we enter into it? What is our motivation to drive us forward to be the best at whatever it is in which we maybe entering into for the day. When I was in college, my fraternity brothers and I would show up at an event with numbers, and in power. The thing was that we didn’t show up in power because we had numbers; but we showed up in power because of who we believed we were. Of course numbers are good, but when some went out alone, or as a pair, the people still felt the power of the eighteen wheeler coming down the hill because of who we were. When I go out to live, and I only have God with me, then they will feel the presence of Him with me. How will they feel the presence of Him with me, well, they will feel from me the power of the one in which I walk. The power of who we believe in will show itself to all to see. Then if we walk into life in the fear of what we have from within, then the fear that drives us will also show itself to all to see: Numbers 13:33, “And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” So be sure to walk in the power of one who can be beyond all that you desire him to be; therefore, walk in the power of the Father.
