It’s not just like riding a bike. When we pray, we say “Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” This was never like riding a bike, even after our skill level became much better. When we learn to ride a bike, we were in control of where the bike would take us for the most part. We made our chosen view, the view for the bike also. Then later on after not having been on a bike for a long while, it would only take a brief warm up to basically be back at where we left off. The other thing that remains constant when you start back riding a bike, the bike still will be subject to your view. The one thing that remains constant when you start to have Father’s view, as your view; you must be willing to step into his view.
We seem to forget those spiritual words said to the Father: “Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” We know that when the Apostles first heard Jesus direct them on how to pray to the Father, they had no idea how that would be worked out. When we say it, we should have no idea of how that would be worked out either. If my thinking is the best thing going for me, then I want to surrender right now. How can I work out his will to be done in earth based on the contents of my mind. Thank God that it is not his intent that we figure this thing out; however, it is his intent that we walk with him as he shows us what’s already figured out. Here is my joy when it comes to making Father’s view as my view; or stated differently, having Father’s will in heaven as my will in earth.
Thinking about this one scripture alone should fire us all up when it comes to doing his will in heaven, here in earth. 1 Corinthians 2:9, But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. When I think on how having Father’s view will take me into things prepared in which Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, well that’s amazing. This is why we would want to have his view since it is a view prepared for them that love him.
In order to walk in his view, we must walk with him. We are able to walk with him in his fulness as members of his body through the Godhead. Colossians 2:9, For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. The members of the body of Christ will serve as training wheels, similar to a bike, to be there for you to lean on as you learn to walk it out. We will always walk in the word to began to walk in Father’s view. There are many treasures to be found in the natural as you walk out the spiritual word. Remember, the word was made flesh, or Jesus if you will. Your word from God in Father’s view will be made flesh, or whatever it is that he hath prepared for you. You will also learn to walk in the power of the Spirit to help you bring to pass the word into that which has been prepared for you. Jesus told his Apostle not to leave on the mission until they were endowed with power. They new the word personally, but Jesus says don’t go out there without the power. Then to walk in Father’s view, you will see that which he has prepared for you, and be able to step into his Will in earth as you would in heaven. We will go over the full process of walking in Father’s view. There is nothing like walking into that in which he has prepared just for you. And no, it’s not like riding a bike; or anything else for that matter.
