The Godhead was made available when the annexation of Christianity was set up in the earth. This was a signature move in which the Father expressed some emotion: Colossians 1:19, For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell. Here we can see in the Father the very thing that moved him to authorize the annexation of Christianity to earth in the first place. John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. When the Father sent Jesus here to pay our sin debt, it opened the door for us with to walk in the fulness Of God for the first time as a son of God would be able to do. We did not have to have the anointed mantel, staff, two turtle doves, the hair of Sampson, and on and on all the things that Father had done since the beginning to give power to those in the world who loved him. Now, we are set up to have power if we will by faith accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. So we have the Father doubling down to his commitment that he so loved the world. How about that? Not only did he give his only begotten son to pay our debt; now, he is giving those who accepts this great sacrifice of Love, the access to all fulness. Why is it a great sacrifice? How many of us not named Father, and Abraham, are willing to sacrifice our only begotten son or daughter?
I understand that the fulness of God dwells in Jesus, but how does that give me access to the fulness of God. The reason you have access is because you are placed in the body of Christ as one of the members of his body. In other words, Jesus is the head of us all; and us all, make up his body. It’s good that Jesus has a spiritual body because it just keeps growing and growing every time a new soul is saved. Colossians 2:9, For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. There goes the how in which dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. First of all, since Jesus is not here on earth anymore in physical form, people get to see us as the representatives of Jesus. Jesus is at the right hand of the Father with high hopes that we learn how to walk in all fulness sooner than later. Remember what he told the Apostles after giving them the word of God in person. He said do not, hold up, let’s let him say it again: Luke 24:49, And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. The Apostles knew the word; and unlike with us, they received it in person. There was no doubt that they had the correct and on point word of God, but they needed more. We have the word of God, but we have to have more: we have to take advantage of our access to all the fulness of God in order to bring to pass our hopes on a regular basis. Yes, the word has power to move all things, but it needs the rest of the fulness in order to bring to pass many things.
The one thing that we need to really know when we look to access the fulness of God: we must access it by moving when it moves. It’s not by prayer, but it’s by moving into the word that we received by our prayers when we hear it come our way. The scripture is clear in Colossians 2:9, For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead “bodily.” Jesus is the head, and it is set up for all fulness of the Godhead to be accessed by the members of the body. It’s not hard to understand why the Father would give us access to all fulness in this manner. If the fulness of God is not contained. or released unto us in a controlled way, how could we handle walking in all that power. I remember in scripture where God told Moses to stay in the Clift as the power passes by him. It is just too much for us to hold up to all of the fulness of God without restraint. What is our restraint? We will only move into it as we process through it; therefore, the amount that we access will be an amount in which our faith can handle.
We also have to remember that Jesus is an original member of the Godhead: John 1:14, And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. So when he came here to pay our sin debt, if you will, he was moonlighting: Jesus had been here since being in the bosom of the Father since before the beginning; and then he was sent here to take care of family business. It was two main reasons why Jesus had to leave earth when he did. One reason is that he missed being with the Father, and doing all those Will and Word things that brought so much glory. John 17:4-5, I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee “before the world was.” Yeah, I can understand Jesus wanting to get back to the glory days as the Word. Now the second reason Jesus had to leave earth when he did was to make room for the next member of the Godhead to come. Once he tells the Apostles to wait to be endued with power, Jesus, the Word must get out the way so that the power can come. We can already see Jesus setting up the restraints so that the Apostles, and later us, will be able to have access to all fulness. John 16:7, Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, “the Comforter will not come” unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. Here we have a second member (Holy Ghost) of the Godhead waiting to come, but will not come until another member (The Word) of the Godhead has left. The Apostles are learning in real time what it means to walk in the fulness of God through the Godhead, and we must learn in real time what it means also. I saw this one commercial that says “it just means more.” Well, as you learn to walk in the fulness of the Godhead, it will mean more. Once the Holy Ghost had fallen on the Apostles, and they went through that shock and awe phase; it took them quite some time to get up on out of Jerusalem. Everyone’s learning curve is different, but don’t worry if it has taken you a little longer than you planned to walk in more of the fulness of God.
We need to give our head, Jesus, some pressure release. He has all of the fulness of God just ready through him to be released to us as we step into it to access it. Okay, I will not leave you hanging without a touch more of understanding on how to move from one Godhead to another. We will always begin with the word Godhead whenever we begin a faith operation. Why? You always need to know the word from God, written or rhema, in order for it to give you direction according to the will of God. Let’s go simple, say you need money. So you of course have been praying; therefore, you are standing on a word from God in which you believe he can do. Let’s say that word, written or rhema, was “I will supply your need.” So how do you walk in the fulness of the Godhead? Many will instantly start asking the Holy Ghost to move, but it’s not yet his time. You must first exhaust the word that you received in order to be positioned in the place for what is next. We start on the Word and not the Will because the Word doesn’t start us at the Will, but it starts us going toward the will at the place in which we have “faith to believe.” Then according to your faith process as you move to exhaust the word, you will begin to move toward a supply in which the Holy Ghost can walk with you in faith as you fulfill the Word. When the situation came up for Jesus to feed the 5000, he already knew what he would do because he had done these things before as the Word from before the beginning of the world. The Apostles, like you and I, we have to find the faith in which we believe while in the faith process in order to bring it to pass. One other nugget when it comes to the Word Godhead. I will usually look around for five faith substances, or ways that will answer my need; and then I will try them out or exhaust them each to determine which direction I need to walk into. Then as I began to move forward, I will see if the word is beginning to take on new meaning or form. This let’s me know that I am getting close to moving from the Word Godhead into the Holy Ghost Godhead to have the power to begin to have my given Word made flesh, or natural for my use. The Godhead: Father-Will, Jesus-Word, and Holy Ghost Power: all fulness of God! Next Post!
